Todays Pre Market report is going to be different
This isn’t about me, this is to help you
But first, stocks are red here in the Pre Market
European counter tariffs to the U.S. are now in view
J-Pow speaks today
Not that long ago I had a fellow investor reach out to me
They did so with what I know 110% came from their heart, and were under the belief, how ever misguided it was, that they were “warning or helping" me
That investor had read a “Story” on a household name website ( it has its own cable network ) about a stock that we have highlighted here and work with often
The sad part, for me at least, is that they believe that is accurate information just because a writer for a website that got paid $350.00 or so ( going rate up to $500.00 ) to do a story on XYZ.. And how XYZ had seen better days
Since that investor contacted me XYZ has gone on to make a new ATH 3 times. As investors we should be able to all agree on this, “Any time a stock makes a new ATH that is a sign of strength”
Here is one of the 392,875 ways Stocks and Options are NOT THE SAME
Stocks tell you where a price is at
The charts guide us with past price action to where a stock could go
Options show you exactly who is buying what, where and when
Options tell you the mathematical probabilities of a stock achieving what price by what date
That’s why we have ::
I. V. Rankings
Intrinsic Values
Extrinsic Values
Open Interest
Strike Prices
Delta’s
Gamma
Theta
Expiration Dates and so on
In my life I started cutting back talking with people when they want to talk about a stocks “Story” even close personal friends, because they only wanted to discuss a “Story” that they read
My only regret is that I didn’t do it earlier, I truly, truly mean that
The reason being is that 99.99% of the time we hang up the phone I say to myself “Well, there’s 15 minutes of my life I can’t get back”
Even if an investor should never utilize the power of Options one single time ever
And do nothing else but only buy Plain Jane stocks
They should learn how to read Level II
Also how to use the D.O.M.
Those 2 things alone will supersede any price chart, much less any “Story” and we are huge fans of price charts here at theoptionscoach.net
We love price charts
Level II and the D.O.M. show you to the penny where a stock is being bought, TO THE PENNY……
Price action pays, opinions don’t
If you’re an Options investor you should know how to use both of those and your Options Chain
As Options investors “grow” their understanding of “The Greeks” should grow as well
When I first started trading Options I didn’t know one half of one half of one half what I do today about “The Chain”
Talk about a “Learning Curve” lol…. 🤣
Everything gets better with practice
Newsletters like this with the in-depth descriptions of the Options mechanics were not as prevalent when I first started, back then it was simply “buy this” and not much more
That sucked…..
For a long while now I’ve talked about the new website and the upcoming Premium Service
The framework is almost done, I’m filling it all in now, colors and borders are coming
The reason for the 2 screenshots is I couldn’t get it all into one!!!! lol….
Pretty soon I will be returning to the Tuesday afternoon Options ZOOM meetings
And the website will be full of useful stuff
The Premium Service which will be coming shortly will cover some seriously in depth Options knowledge to accompany the actionable trade set ups
In other words so investors can also learn how to fish, and not just get a fish
WMT is green here in the Pre while everything else is red on hold
S+P 500 Support is at 6,056
Time to grind
