Not the biggest or busiest day of the year today. More like “Calm before the storm” TSLA faired well, congrats to those longs. Earnings are here, and some big tech names report later this week.

Earnings season is always a good time to evaluate your positions as to where you are at with them, and if you want to carry the risk through the event. Savvy investors can mitigate risk while still potentially capitalizing with gains through the use of Options. Common stock investors don’t have that option ( no pun intended ) It’s always a good idea for stock investors and options traders both to know their risk prior to any earnings or news event.

The NYSE saw 251 new 52 Week Highs today and the NASDAQ had 203. That’s not bad news for such a slow day. Below is todays Heat Map.
