A little sad day today...

If I asked you to share some of your favorite childhood memories my hope is that at least one of them was the freedom you had riding your bike with your friends

I can remember riding my bike as early as the age of 10 from my dads house over to my grandmas. Right smack in the middle of that journey was “Granite City Steel” or what we came to know as “U.S. Steel” former ticker symbol was X before being bought out last year

My dad once worked there, my friends dads worked there, then as we “grew up” I would leave for the Military and a few of my buddies went on to work there

Well today I learned that what is now left of a very baron steel plant, one of the most important in America at one time, is set to close, and possibly forever

When my dad passed away a few months ago I was spending a lot of time “back home” helping with things. I drove past the mill countless times and was so shocked, and saddened to see what it had become. Or no longer was. It started in the 1980’s when Americans began buying Japanese cars. Today we partner with Japan to buy steel, but we get steel from Canada, Taiwan and even Brazil . It’s estimated we get 25% of our steel from over seas now… “The American Dream” is dead, but we did it to ourselves
We all know the adages:::::
“What have you done for me lately” the new saying is “What can you do for me now”

To be prudent investors we should be aware of both of those adages
We need watch our stocks current price action, and be ready to move on if our stock isn’t performing. THAT IS HARD for traders and investors both. We take the trash out 2 or 3 times a week to the can outside, but when it comes to money, ummmmmm ,…. lol…… 🙃 

Rotation, this market feels like a slowwwww rotation, and one that could catch many off guard
Yesterday I went pretty deep into how Fall is historically the best months of the year for tech stocks
Today I checked out $QQQ ( ▲ 0.28% ) and the Options buying picked up since last week
The $580.00 strike is very active from here until the end of the year
