I remember FEB 22, 1980 when Al Michaels famously shouted on live t.v. "Do you believe in miracles!!!!”
Team U.S.A. took the gold medal by beating the Soviets in hockey, something the entire world said couldn’t be done
On July 18, 1976, as a 3rd grader I joined the entire world by cheering on Romanias gymnast Nadia Comaneci as the first athlete to ever score a “Perfect 10”
Fun fact::: NO one ever believed a Perfect 10 could be achieved, “10” wasn’t programmed into the scoreboard, so it came up as a “1” lol. Yes she was #1 😃 
And everyone, everyone, everyone remembers “The Jamaican Bobsled Team” lol…
“Cool Runnings” anyone??? 🙃

After falling by more than 7% this morning $GOOG ( ▼ 2.74% ) made a strong recovery on the day
$CASY ( ▲ 1.51% ) is looking like it wants a pullback again ( we would sooo welcome that )
$JNJ ( ▲ 0.58% ) is always a good safety play in times of market turbulence. Today I bought the 260 Calls for APR 17, 2026. This is one we here at theoptionscoach.net could be adding more to it soon
$JPM ( ▲ 3.93% ) fell today also but it held up above the $305.00 mark with dignity. I’d like to see it hold $310.00 with conviction for some new adds. Right now it’s somewhere in the middle
$GE ( ▲ 4.71% ) is holding above $305.00 also, barely. We want a little more Volume and Options buying before taking any new positions there yet. I do like the consolidation here, the 20Day EMA and the 50 Day SMA are just about joined together, could be telling in either direction
$CSCO ( ▲ 1.75% ) is one we played very briefly some time ago, right now it’s looking poised to breakout higher. There was some noticeable Options buying on it today
The Calls for MAR 20, 2026 at the 85 Strike are in demand with over 24K in O.I.
Right now I also like the Bull Call Spreads at the 82 / 85 for FEB 20, 2026
The MID price on those is 1.57
Earnings is in only 1 more week on FEB 11

Back in the 1970’s the Soviets ( What the Russians used to be called ) dominated strength sports
The Soviets had Vasily Alekseyev
Mad / crazy / insane hair.. Looked like a GIANT Caveman…..
They called him “The Russian Bear”
But he won gold in 1972 and 1976, and 80 world records to boot
He was the first strength athlete to ever lift over 600KG in the “3 Combined Total”
600KG is 1,322.8lbs

Both the U.S. Men and Womens hockey teams are favored to win Gold
We have a dude named Jordan Stolz, watch him in the mens speed skating
Our figure skaters are no joke either
