Did you throw a dart?

This morning I mentioned that today was looking to be one of those 10 days a year that you could just throw a dart at a board of stocks and not miss.
Now if we could only get a notice before hand every time a day like today occurs I’m sure everyone here and every where else would appreciate it 😁 

Lets start with the 3 major indexes
DOW +3.57% I had to triple check that as I typed
S+P 500 +2.53%
NASDAQ +2.95%

For a minute there was talk about S+P hitting 6,000 today for the first time ever
It stopped short at 5,924
That’s okay, it gives us something to look forward to

There’s an old saying amongst those that study to perfect any craft
“Don’t read 100 different books 5 times each, read 5 great books 100 times each”
I couldn’t agree more

That is what we here at theoptionscoach.net do with stocks
It can be soooooooooooo tempting on days like today to load up on 20 different great names, it really can be. There are days I ask myself why am I not talking crypto? I’ve traded crypto stocks with Options many times. I also ask myself what about blah blah or blah?

With that being said lets look at how our 5 stocks did today

AMZN +3.80%
SFM +3.5%
GRMN +2.6%
HD -2.93%
FIS -0.15%

FIS is now out. CAT is back in
We aren’t chasing CAT but it closed up 8.74% and we are waiting for a continuation here

FIS could show some life should it bounce off of the 50 day moving average which is where it closed today> For now it’s going into the standby list

HD got hit with some tariffs I’m hearing? Didn’t do a deep dive on it. A recovery wouldn’t be unthinkable.

HD is a hold only right now. NO new buys and STOPS should be honored
