Do you believe?
Do you believe?
The market was red today, far more red than yesterday
Do you believe in signs? I do… God has given them to me for certain things several times in my life. Today I had a wake up call for the better
I had to step out and run a quick errand today
Left my house keys where? In the house
Normally I have a secret hidden spot away from my house for backup, changed all the locks last year, didn’t put them out in my spot
I’m 59, and I’m a bigger guy, but I lift, and you guys all know that I hike every chance I get ( going out on 3 separate 5 mile hikes this weekend, maybe just 2, we shall see ) But agility? To be a Cirque du Solei acrobat at my age isn’t easy. Today I became one, after busting out a back room window, getting up on a ladder to get in, I found myself trying to maneuver in about 4 different positions all at once… And all without falling and busting my butt, or getting shredded by the broken glass and I am extremely proud of myself for not only doing so, but to be in this condition that I still can
That was a sign for me, I’ve been training for an event coming up but now I’m about to revamp to really get going
( locksmith was 1.5 - 2 hours away, I guess Friday is a big day for them )
Sorry for the long example, but right now I feel like I could whoop Bigfoot, Godzilla, King Kong and the entire “Legion of Doom” all by myself!!! lol….. 🤣 Well maybe with Cat Woman helping 😁
As I was driving today I was thinking of the current trades from this week
Then it dawned on me, with markets showing continued volatility again, why not switch strategies a little to something that is not as directionally based and can still capture direction after a move?
Bull Call Spreads are great at lowering price costs and saving you from bankruptcy during a disaster, but they are also directional if not managed closely
By that I mean if it went against us we could drop the short strike to offset the loss of the long during downturns
But what if we had a less directional option? We do…
And on Sunday night I’m going to start sharing how we do them
Today I took on a new position in COST
I didn’t get filled at the 940 / 950 mentioned this morning
What I was able to enter after it bounced back 1% was the 930 / 935
Though price closed below $930.00 bother Strikes are currently green
Those filled fast, so fast that I only got 1 contract and not the 10 I was after, maybe it was a typo on my end, but I’m going with the fill part for now
Should the stock price of COST fall we are in a great position here, we will drop the long strike and ride the short….

Life is short, time is precious, go get outside in nature this weekend, stretch your legs, walk as far as you can without passing out, take in the sights, the scenery and most of all get your heart pumping, your lungs working and your legs in motion….
You won’t regret it, I promise
