Do you have The History Channel?

Missed you guys, hopefully all of you got out in nature and explored, I did
There is nothing, I mean absolutely zero, nothing, that restores the soul like being out in nature. The Earth is it’s own magnetic force, and those forces move in sequences that are called The Electromagnetic Force. Part of the strength it has comes from “Wavelengths” or “Radio Waves” We then have “Ultra Violet” Gamma, and “High energy X” They all work together

The market has it’s own force too. And they way we see it in the markets are in price movements. Years ago a trader who’s methods are much different from mine but are legit called me a “Purist”…. I loved that, and I’ll take it. Rather than go look for the reasons why a market is doing what it’s doing, I believe in capitalizing off of it’s current direction, up, down or sideways. In other words “Don’t fight the trend”

While I was away on a break I took some time to reflect on market movements of the past.. The past, “History”
I’m a big believer that history repeats itself, not only in life but the markets that reflect life

A few months ago we here at theoptionscoach.net showed a 20 year chart of the SPY and spoke of it riding the top. Well todays chart is a 25 year chart and it using Monthly bars. If this market dives deeper down, the reason, tariffs, the economy, or Bob in his moms basement went short, none of them will matter. The only thing that will put money in our pockets is how we play it along the way, or go to all cash until one believes the market is “Safe again”

For Option investors there are some HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE benefits to sell offs like this as of late.. I mean HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE

Not only will we get in at lower prices, but the metrics and the Greeks have all been “reset”
That then becomes extremely advantageous for Options investors

Have we bottomed? I don’t call those… And in all honesty if History is any indicator at all, the 25 year chart here has it’s own opinion on that
