Did you know that some of the greatest Options traders in the world also play poker?
Heck, tons of regular every day Options traders are poker players too
Odds, poker and Options are both about odds, or “Mathematical Probabilities”
I don’t play poker, I go out on “Walkabouts” and weld stuff out in my driveway
After sitting in my office all week I don’t want to go sit in a casino or anywhere else

Back to Garcia’s thought:
Investors have been playing their hand these past 2 weeks and the market has been chop, chop chopping them up. Todays Pre Market was slightly red, we went green on the day, really green with a few names, at one point META was up over 4%, and NVDA was up 3%
Then the market faded, or in poker terms, it folded

Tomorrow could potentially be different
Tomorrow MAR 21, 2025 is “Quadruple Witching”
Tomorrow Stock Index Futures
Stock Index Options
Stock Options and
Single Stock Futures all expire at the same time

Going into tomorrow the markets are “Put Dominated”
What can happen ( there is NO Guarantee )
Market Makers can try to push prices higher to thus make the Puts expire worthless or OTM… In poker terms, they most likely will try to “force their hand”
That’s good for the longs, again there’s no guarantee

JPM was pretty flat today, it went red / green / red / green and closed down 0.14%
The mentions on it from this morning are still good for tomorrow if the stock goes green
We still like JPM and GS for Options and stocks both
