Just Another Weekly

Way back when, as in a long time ago when I first started learning to read charts all I knew was up channels, and then down channels. I wish someone had introduced me to long range consolidation zones years before I heard of them.

But what else I learned was that whether we were in “Yeah we’re all going to get Lambos now”  or it was “what the market gives, the market takes” mode, we still have to go with the trend.

During times of tremendous growth, and times of uncertainty, longer times frames serve a purpose. They never go out of style.

Here is a 10 Year chart of the $SPY. Guess where it’s at? Yep yep, back down in that long range channel… Unless it breaks south of there, we are still in a overall uptrend….
