Look what "Sprouted" up!!

Have you ever felt that it was the same thing different day? Groundhog Day if you will.. The markets can feel that way sometimes, and sometimes it’s not a bad thing, as in we welcome the repetitiveness of it.

Less than 3 months ago, on May 3, 2024 I posted a blog here at investingwithfaith.com titled “What are you growing?” What I spoke about was Sprouts Farmers Market symbol SFM. It just beat earnings and “Sprouted” up big on the day. Sprouts reached a New All Time High today. It’s now up over over 34% since our entry back in May.

Part of the repetitiveness that I’m talking about is that we focus on stocks that have proven strength. We believe in the tenet that “Strength typically creates more strength whereas weakness creates more weakness”

We look for stocks that are breaking out of well established patterns with strong volume that then start new trends. We then cross reference that with Options activity to see where “the moneyness is” Sprouts is one that has proven itself in that fashion.

Earnings season is here, there could be more new chances for entries like we found with Sprouts. Going to show the chart from back in May, then the chart from today. You decide for yourself if it fit our model for strength.
