Today is the last day of April, the market did not exactly get into a big rush today but it did a push into the close
$DJIA ( ▲ 0.35% )
$SPY ( ▲ 0.04% )
$QQQ ( ▼ 0.01% )
Right now a few really big names are reporting
$AMZN ( ▼ 1.59% ) beat
$MSFT ( ▲ 0.31% ) beat
$NVDA ( ▼ 0.09% ) beat
We’re still waiting to hear about $MSTR ( ▼ 0.35% )
$CAT ( ▲ 0.61% ) surprisingly retreated this morning after it’s strong post earnings rise
Thankfully we played it with Bull Call Spreads for downside protection
$JPM ( 0.0% ) “perked up” a tad but we’d still like to see it do better
Now that we have those big names out of the way we will be re-assessing as to how they hold up for what could be the start of some new uptrends. That will tell us what strategy to utilize
The view right now is looking better
There’s a chance that I won’t be here in the morning tomorrow
If we miss the Pre Market Report in the morning I will be back for the afternoon edition
