Now were moving

Today wasn’t bad, not real fast like last week but no whipsaw and no sudden sinkers either. The only new investment that we placed today was with CAT.
We bought protected Bull Call Spreads, on the 1-5 scale they are a 2. We bought the 385’s and sold the 390’s. They are producing for us here
At one point CAT was up over 4.3% today but closed up 3.5%
We also bought some Blind Calls. On our risk scale of 1-5 they are a solid 4.
We got those later in the day after it had settled down and currently our Options are up 9% on the day here. Any further move north this week and they will explode. Seeing how these are Blind and a higher risk trade we will exit with our profits on any sign of a downturn. These carry a higher degree of risk, they are blind so they have no down side protection. Someone wrote me today saying that the “talking heads” on tv were talking about CAT is a buy now. We initially entered 8 trading days ago. Sucks to be them.

NVDA we day traded it today. We played the 120 / 123’s and exited with some decent gains on the day. If it holds here above this 120 area we will be looking at some investment plays that are both protective and income generating…. Calendar Spreads look to be perking up here…

GE… Still in a tricky spot.. The bad part is that this one could go on to be a “sleeper” that gets away from us if we don’t make a move soon…. The Options were not being bought as heavily today as they were yesterday. And there is some activity over on “the other side” That could suggest a short term pullback in the making…. We would welcome that as it would offer us a fresh chance to get in at a solid entry point for it’s next leg up

SFM, got in, got some “sammich money” and got out…..Didn’t perform today as it was insinuating it would

SN 😁 A little wiffle waffling today, we saw price move on low volume and that was the start to it falling back from the days highs. It’s still in our rotation. tomorrow is another day, see you in the morning
