Pre Market APR 2, 2025

Stocks are red in the Pre Market today, so far….

Last night we had a big storm here in Kansas City, the weather alerts had been going out all night, tornado warning, hail warning, high winds…. So to prepare I made sure my phone was charged, flashlights charged up, moved my truck to my back lot away from the trees and covered it up… Had my clothes and shoes all lined out in case something happened in the middle of the night I could get up and go….. Proactive, I was very proactive, the storm has now passed and no one was hurt, all is well

Yeah the storm kept me up all night, but I’m still here, on time
That’s the difference between the 20% that produce, and everyone else

Today is “Liberation Day” Previously I stated that it was Monday, today is the day
President Trump will be speaking today at 4pm EST from the Rose Garden of the White House to announce what all the tariffs will entail… Investors can flip a quarter to see how the markets will react… Given the timing of the announcement ( right at market close ) many brokerages are limiting their clients availability today for leveraged products. Especially Futures…

In the markets its not what happens, it’s how the markets react

Today I’m doing something different, there won’t be any stocks highlighted this morning
The reason is the current prices could be way off by the time the market opens or gets going
Yes I have spoken about always buying at the MID, that still applies
But stocks are dropping at the moment
What I will do is after the market opens, if any opportunities arise I will then a send a 2nd newsletter out with those trades

There’s no panic button to push here, and we don’t know yet what’s in store
Heck, it could be good for all we know
But right now it would serve everyone well to be pro-active and make sure that our STOPS are set where you want them to be

S+P 500 Support is at 5,561
That’s better than yesterdays 5,516… lol.. 😃

Side note:
Last night actor Val Kilmer passed away at the age of 65 due to complications from pneumonia … Kilmer was best known and loved for his work in Top Gun, Batman, Michael Mann’s star filled critically acclaimed classic HEAT ( I saw that one on Christmas night 1995, and still watch clips of it to this day ) and Tombstone… It was in the movie Tombstone that Kilmer said the line that became a cult classic to this day::
