Stocks are slightly “reddish” here in the Pre Market today…

China says that talks with the U.S. over tariffs haven’t even begun

CMG which is not a friend of ours, fell AH yesterday when it missed earnings
They say they are seeing and project further sales slowdown for 2025
There is a CMG close to my home, which I office out of. For years I would go there a couple of times per week to grab my lunch, it was a great deal for me…. I liked the food, close to home, order online, go grab it, come back and eat, all was well

Then as the cost of burrito bowls started going from $11.00 to over $17.00 in just a few years I stopped. Plus portion sizes shrank. The new CEO had to address that. Haven’t been back in well over 3 years now. Yes food prices rise, but back then they hadn’t yet like today, it was corporate greed..
Do you recall the stock price before it’s 10-1 split? The $1,500.00 burrito???
They aren’t building super computers or curing cancer, they sell burritos
If you dine in you are corralled into a pen like bovine with cattle railing
The music and the atmosphere is loud intentionally by design, restaurants know the louder and faster the music, the faster you will eat, meaning the faster you will leave, meaning faster table turnover

Moral of that story is money matters. Consumers take note of what they are buying and and the bang for their buck

GOOG’s revenue comes from Ad sales… GOOG reports today after the bell
All eyes will be on GOOG today to see what it projects going forward
What will companies be willing to spend?

Stocks are starting to flicker a little green here and there, not much, but some

Today we are going to play the “Bigg Boii” and stick with a Strangle as the uncertainly isn’t resolved just yet

On Thursdays I eat at the Chinese buffet. I walk there, eat, then walk back
It’s one mile each way. The have a hibachi gill with some seriously good stuff, and the cost is always $13.64…… It’s next door to CMG, I’ll wave as I go by……….. 😁
