Pre Market APR 28, 2025

Stocks are mixed in the Pre Market today
Tech names are green

Our new friend MSTR is now up over 2% this morning
If it stays that high it will void the price and the options prices of one of our plays as mentioned last night
The other play is still good for right now

META reports this Wednesday, APR 30, 2025
The price action last week was great, closing up over 9%

AMZN and AAPL are both on Thursday
AAPL has the better looking chart

iPhones however are made in China
Is China telling the truth that tariff talks haven’t even begun? Doubtful

This market could go “to da moon” with some good tariff news
And it could have a really really bad day on any news that’s not so good

Right now some familiar friends like CAT, COST and SFM have gone green

We take on more risks when we buy prior to earnings
I’ve done it, I won “Bigly” with AMZN back 2013 I think it was
The losing side of that quarter has landed on my lap a time or two also

To buy stocks just prior to earnings is just plain stoopid, those are not investors to be taken seriously, they have zero edge in the market even if they set stops, that’s not an edge
Successful stock investors don’t try to get ahead of earnings, they sit, they wait, and then they enter after the event. Their odds of success are much greater then

Options are different…
Options are about mathematical probabilities, not possibilities….

META is still priced in Fair Value here
Even if it wasn’t earnings this week
The I.V. ranking STILL falls into our metrics parameter
Yes, I double checked it
So are all of the other 16 metrics that we utilize
Kind of took me by surprise too
We won’t go directional yet, no way buddy
We’re going to anticipate a big move either direction and go with our Strangles again
