Took a few weeks off
Went down to Colombia
Cali Colombia to be exact
Cali is Colombia’s 3rd largest city, 2.8 million people call it home
Sometimes I do too
Cali is not like Bogota, Medellin, or Cartagena
It is NOT a tourist destination
You will NOT see other Americans there
Cali could be a country of its own
Yesterday it was rocked by attacks from the anti government group FARC
Numbers are changing but the body count is now up to 35
Where some were killed 24 hours ago, I was literally standing 96 hours ago
The good people of Cali are strong, resilient and self reliant
May God be with them all

During my time away I was able to do some trading, and I kept up on the markets as well
Seasonality is playing a big part of everything that’s holding the markets back right now
Tariffs, threats of tariffs, and more tariffs are weighing on things
Then we have “The Fed”

The #1 thing the markets hate more than anything else is uncertainty,
It’s time for a total portfolio rebalance…………..
And some fresh scans for possible new plays, for those that are there
We are in NO HURRY to jump into anything here just yet but 2 of our long time friends are showing strength
They’re GE and META
GE is up 61% so far this year
META is up 29% on the year
