Yesterday I took advantage of the cold outside and stayed inside all day, and all night
Had some stew simmering on the stove, read a good book, did some stretching, talked with a few different friends, all while the fireplace was roaring
It was a chill, chill, chill day….
But my sleep last night, I think I just won the “Sleep Olympics'!!!” I slept so solid, so good, that not only did I not wake up one single time, all of the blankets were still on top of me exactly as if I had just laid down. I mean it was like out of a movie
Maybe it was because yesterday was so ultra relaxing and chill, maybe it was from the big fire roaring all day. I’m sure all of that stretching played a part of it

Our old friend $COST ( ▲ 0.08% ) reports earnings in 2 weeks on MAR 5, 2026
And since JAN every time it bounces off of the 20 Day EMA it roars

Here in the Pre COST is flat but it’s early and looks like it’s wanting to advance

Bull Call Spreads for MAR 6, 2025
I would suggest consider closing prior to earnings unless you are wanting to hold through the event. You will know closer to that date by how your P+L looks
Buy the 985 Call
Sell the 990 Call
The MID price is 2.97
That’s a very conservative play, should COST go “Roaring” off of the 20 Day EMA here traders always have the option of keeping the 985 strike and dropping the 990 short strike or then replace the 990 with the 995 for continued protection
