Pre Market JAN 10, 2025

Stocks are falling in the Pre Market today
The Jobs Report came in hot and Treasuries are rising

NVDA is showing some weird price action this morning also
It’s down almost 2.7% and on lower volume than normal
META joined it and is down over 1%

COST is up 0.80% I see that coming to bigger gains soon
If it holds this price action today we’ll be taking new entries

Do you know who “Internet Phenom” Mike Burch is?
In the world of power lifting they call him “The Grandpa of Power Lifting”
Mr Burch is 74 years of age. That’s not a typo / he’s 74
He looks like, because he was, some old biker dude out of a ZZ Top video
Blares loud heavy metal music as he works out, in his socks
Mr Burch is not a big man, shorter fella, weighs under 180
His claim to fame? His deadlifts
At 74 he shows up to power lifting meets and starts his warm ups with 505
That is 505 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you know what kind of grip strength it takes to “pull that”???
For the “Haters” I’m sure their first thought when they see or hear of him perform those feats of strength is “Steroids”…….. Noooope, he competes “Clean” or “Natty”
Burch competes in competitions that are drug free and regularly undergoes drug testing
What Mr Burch credits his success in his sport to is the fact that he never gave up, never stopped working out and never stopped working on his overall fitness routines

That is applicable to trading as well as investing in the markets
To achieve greater success, to stand out and rock on when others are in the rocking chair
You can’t give up, it takes work
