Pre Market

Good morning traders, how are you today?
If your new here welcome
The markets are green here in the Pre
$DJI ( ▼ 0.17% )
$SPY ( ▼ 0.08% )
$QQQ ( ▼ 0.08% )
$IWM ( ▲ 0.09% )
Before we get started there are a couple orders of business:::
1st:: Today is OPEX, so if you have any Options plays that expire today, that are ITM, and you don’t want to get assigned, take the profits today or risk being assigned shares
That’s only for positions that expire today
2nd: Monday JAN 19, 2026 is MLK Day, the markets will be closed
Yesterday I mentioned $NVDA ( ▼ 0.44% ) It’s not broke out yet, but we have a few different options on our Options here ( no pun intended )

Here at theoptionscoach.net
We don’t chase stocks
We don’t go long if a stock is red
We buy at the MID price or better
We set STOPS and HONOR them
Bull Call Spreads for FEB 20, 2026
The price is $188.02 as we speak, uhhggg, in between Strikes but lets get to work
Buy the 185 Call
Sell the 195 Call
The MID is 4.68
Some long Calls may be in order if a trader sees a breakout on the horizon
Remember that there is no downside protection with these
FEB 20, 2026
The $185.00 Call is 9.85 at the MID
Why are we going ITM first ? Great question my astute trader friends
It’s because we are still range bound and the probability of going ITM here is 54%
The 180’s have a MID of 12.90 and a 63.50% chance of going ITM
This is one of the ways that Options differ from stocks
Stocks are about possibilities
Options are about mathematical probabilities
Willing to take on some risk?
The 220s have a O.I. of 113,740, that is strong
The MID on those is 0.68
Probability of going ITM is only 6.42%
But if it goes a traders way they could be rewarded handsomely
“Back in the day” heavy weight boxing was a main sport. We didn’t have MMA, and the heavy weights ruled all… Kind of like NVDA
Johnny Carson was “The King” of late night television that all shows have tried to be ever since… Sound like NVDA as a stock?
Randall “Tex” Cobb was a great heavy weight in his time, he went on to become an actor, was never at a loss for finding the humor in things, and always found a way to bounce back.. Sound familiar?

Its time to grind
