Good morning traders, how are you today?
So far this morning the markets appear to be recovering about one / third of Fridays selloff
$DJI ( ▼ 1.9% )  
$SPY ( ▼ 2.7% )  
$QQQ ( ▼ 3.47% )  
$IWM ( ▼ 2.99% )  

$JPM ( ▼ 1.52% ) which has been a long time friend of ours reports earnings tomorrow, and like many others its on the move this morning
One of the 17 metrics that we use here at theoptionscoach.net for determining a Options fair value, and whether we want it or not is I.V. or the Implied Volatility ranking

9 times out of 10, well 9.5 times more likely, I.V. will rise going into earnings. That is one ( ONLY ONE< DONT READ THIS THEN THINK YOU CAN APPLY IT AS “THE GOLDEN EGG” ) but ONE of the factors we have to heed right before earnings
Fridays selloff was a FREE GIFT to Options traders and investors both

What happened with Fridays selloff is I.V. rankings were reset, and to our favor
JPM $TSLA ( ▼ 5.06% )  $GE ( ▼ 2.63% )  $EL ( ▼ 6.73% )  $NVDA ( ▼ 4.89% ) and other friends of ours all have more favorable prices today since their I.V. rankings have been lowered

Normally we don’t buy the day before earnings, very high risk
But with I.V. being in our favor here, along with Gamma and rising O.I.’s we’re shooting our shot here
This morning price is up to $304.00 and not the $300.00 it closed at on Friday
