The markets are up this morning and looking to continue its rebound

Yesterday afternoon I mentioned that we’re watching GOOG with it’s Double Bottom formation forming here

On the one year chart it’s a big beautiful Cup and Handle, the Double Bottom is coming in the way of the handle. If your new to chart patterns the D.B. is the area in the upper right of the chart. Here’s the caveat, is it truly a D.B. or is it just a up leg in a down trend?
Its in kind of a make or break spot here at the moment
Right now $GOOG ( ▲ 1.83% ) is up in the Pre

For the moment we’re going to be “cautiously optimistic” and go with some tight Bull Call Spreads
Here’s the deal:::::
If GOOG is setting up for a large advance and begins to prove itself we intend to switch strategies to a monthly income earning strategy known as “Calendar Spreads”
Those are not get rich quick, they are made for steady income generation using Options on stocks that are trending north over the long haul

Sell the 260 Call
The MID is 6.68
That’s a pretty low risk trade, but we are just tipping our toes in the water as it’s the start of a new trade

For traders that are feeling “adventurous”
The same dated 250 Calls are 11.38 at the MID

Oh and our new friend $EL ( ▲ 0.22% ) is up here in the Pre too
