Good morning traders , how are you today?
The markets are green here in the Pre
$DJI ( ▲ 0.71% )  
$SPY ( ▲ 1.18% )  
$QQQ ( ▲ 1.78% )  
$IWM ( ▲ 0.35% )  

Last night I had a weirrrrdddd dream…… I was at a summer lake / camp place, with people I knew but normally don’t do a lot with. Well I entered this cube / pod / boat thing’sh race…
And it wasn’t until I was already in it that I realized that I had overpaid to get in…
So to break even, I was going to have to not only win, but do so in under X amount of time

Sound familiar? That’s Options 101 right there my trader friends….
We want to be familiar with what we trade ( though new “friends” are welcome )
We want to know our vessel ( what type of strategy is it? Strangle? Bull Call Spread? )
We want to get in at proper buy points and not to late ( we don’t chase )
We want “Theta” which is the time factor in Options to be optimal with our Expirations

Yesterday I mentioned $META ( ▲ 1.69% ) and $CAT ( ▲ 0.83% ) both are up this morning, both report on Wednesday.. META is what we’re looking at this morning. Before I get to it I want to mention $TSLA ( ▲ 4.31% ) as we played it a lot last week and most likely will be again this week

We set STOPS and HONOR them


META is give or take $750.00 right now, Strangles are going to be pricey but by far the safest way to generate gains here

Buy the 740 Put
Buy the 760 Call
The MID is 58.70

Bull Call Spreads are EXTREMELY low risk in comparison to simply buying long calls
And they are much much much cheaper too
They limit any downside losses should they occur
But potential gains are capped as well
And we have to remember earnings is Wednesday
If META misses a trader would want to manage accordingly

Sell the 760 Call
The MID is 4.28
That’s like paying 0.25 for a Big Mac maybe even 0.10
