Good Morning Traders


Today I received 2 very early morning “wake up texts” from 2 different trader buddies who are excited about this market. Both of them are deep in $INTC ( ▲ 22.93% )  
It’s up pretty huge this morning in the Pre, congrats to all the longs there

Whenever I help someone new on their investing journey I talk about picking 5 stocks
That’s a topic of its own, but for today lets get to it

It’s easy to get excited and or overwhelmed ( flip a quarter ) by how many different options we have in picking stocks

To alleviate that focus on 5
Its always a good practice to start with the first one being $SPY ( ▲ 0.57% ) as its barometer
Then pick 3, those 3 should be strong, meet the criteria that suits you
Then the last one, that one can be your “fun one”
Lets say your into aviation, maybe you pick a airline stock
Or your into technology, so you pick a tech stock

It lets you have a little fun along the way
Hopefully that keeps you more engaged for your future success

On Tuesday afternoon I wrote about the different O.I.s on different names
That list from Tuesday is doing well
$TSLA ( ▼ 0.69% )  $JPM ( ▼ 0.07% )  $META ( ▲ 0.94% )  $GOOG ( ▲ 0.81% )  $RDDT ( ▲ 4.33% ) and $GE ( ▲ 2.14% )  

Life can be hard, trading can be hard, but neither one should be all of the time
