We all know that old saying, “Slow and steady wins the race” Well sometimes it does, not always but sometimes. Today it did. Nothing broke out and went to “Da Moon” but nothing had melted down with epic proportions either.

Just when it seemed that tech was on hold after SMCI’s massive beatdown this week the Nasdaq made 40 fresh 52 wk hi’s today. The NYSE made 53. A few of those with charts that we can appreciate are CSR, ENB, MCO and SN. SN actually stands for, ready? “Shark Ninja” If that’s not the coolest company name of all time I don’t know what is!

We don’t buy off of names, if we did it would be like celebrating New Years Eve when I was 18 with family and friends and putting it all on a horse named “Stoned Logic”… Want to take a guess how that one worked out for me?

We do however buy on strength. And we here at investingwithfaith.com added to our swing position in GE today. The Call Options are being bought up for SEP 20, 2024 at the 180 and 190 strikes. We are big fans of the chart action here. GE doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast, but then again when the SPY closed flat from where it was this time last week and GE is closing up well over 4% in the same time period, “slow and steady” is winning that race.
