Smack Down!!!!

Yesterday I wrote about DELL. At that time I was unaware that it would be reporting Earnings after the bell today. It’s not one that I normally trade. I did mention however that it looked extended and I would be watching for pullbacks to form a new box. Well with this giant miss today we got that pullback, and then some. As of this writing DELL is now down over 18% here After Hours. That is on top of it being down over 5% on the day.

The Heat Map today is very interesting, I’m looking forward to seeing tomorrows. One day of red in Tech does not make a Sector Rotation. It doesn’t mean that it couldn’t start. But it would be like saying that your team won one game so your now the champions. Sports don’t work like that, neither do the markets.

It’s a long way until 9:30 AM EST tomorrow, the Futures markets opened up 33 minutes ago, and for now they are flat. Tomorrow is another day, we shall see what it brings.
