Stocks today

For some reason GE is sinking like a rock here AH… It shows that it is now down over 5% into the $178.00 range. I’m reading that they offered a cash dividend but surprised it dropped the stock this much. This doesn’t sit well with me as I just mentioned possible protective plays on it last night. I did also mention how it’s currently at a fresh high and could be making a pullback. More on this as it unfolds

The rest of our stocks did well and are fairing well at the moment
Todays big winner for us is SFM. SFM closed the day up 3%

A long time reader reached out to me today with his win in BHVN. That is one that I mentioned recently and he profited today with Bull Call Spreads on it. At one point this morning BHVN was up over 21%, it closed the day up 14%. Congrats to all of the longs in that one

This sudden drop in GE is a prime example of why we like protective plays when starting new positions over Blind Calls. Last night I also mentioned entering “incrementally” which means not all at once until a position begins to prove itself. Kind of like how we did last week with CAT
