Thank You Uncle Warren

Stocks gave a “Valiant Effort” today but at the end the days gains were pretty much erased from the pullback

$DJIA ( ▼ 0.24% )  
$SPY ( ▼ 0.57% )  
$QQQ ( ▼ 0.59% )  

$COST ( ▲ 0.65% ) which just last night I said we wouldn’t buy today unless it bounced off of Fridays lows did just that today… This is one of the actual charts that I use to day trade. Super duper fanceeee like isn’t it??? lol… The only things that you see there are the price bars, the volume bars down below, and the trend line. When a stock is as strong as COST is, that’s all I need. It’s not over crowded with indicators, there aren’t any “oscillators”
There is Price, and Volume, and the rest speaks for itself

We’ve seen that recently with $SFM ( ▼ 0.7% ) also, and in the past others like $META ( ▲ 0.38% ) ( which we took today ) and $CAT ( ▼ 0.18% ) also

$GOOG ( ▲ 0.15% )  
$MSTR ( ▼ 1.99% ) was down over 5% at one point then rose back up, impressive
$WMT ( ▲ 0.59% )  

We here at theoptionscoach.net are incredibly appreciative and admiring fans of Mr Warren Buffett as the man himself. By now you have most likely heard that “Uncle Warren” is stepping down as Chair Person of Berkshire Hathaway and that the board approved his recommendation of Greg Abel as his replacement. We wish Mr. Abel, his team and their shareholders all the best
Uncle Warren is retiring at the young age of 94 😃 
There are dozens of stories I could pass along about him and his approach to the markets, but it’s his humbleness as a human that draws people to him
One thing I will say, they use Options there at Berkshire, don’t think that they don’t because they do, and they don’t simply buy LEAPS as one might think either, we’ll talk about that some other time… For all of the lessons learned, and for the investors around the world that benefited from Uncle Warrens wisdom, not just in the markets, but in life, we say “Thank You”
