The Rules

This morning I shared that a long time buddy from way back when was coming over at lunch time today, he did, it was cool
He showed up in his “Sunday Car” It’s an SUV he bought brand new over a decade ago, keeps it garaged, has the original tires and the original windshield wipers on it
It’s shiny, it’s grey with shiny shiny shiny wheels and trim
I joke around and ask him “Hey, how much will you pay me to take that eye sore of off your hands?” That machine is immaculate and pristine

That’s something my buddy, or any of us ( if we could afford to do so ) have control over

One thing that we don’t have control over in life is the stock market
No one does, not you, me or the man on the moon
That is why in trading and investing both we have, and we use, rules

Every morning I post this with each post of new positions to look at:::
We don’t buy long when a stock is red
We don’t chase stocks
We always buy at the MID or better
We set STOPS and HONOR them

Today the market saw a lot of red, no need to buy until we go green
The only one that was green today was SFM
Timing maybe but we highlighted it this morning

Tariff talk is back in the news, this time autos
We are still fans of banks, even though they pulled back today
The mentions of JPM that were highlighted this morning are still in play for tomorrow
That is ifffffffffffffffffffffffff JPM goes green
That’s the rule
