This is real

Here’s how the indexes did

I’m going to go slightly off script today and share something, it’s fresh, its real, and it’s on my mind

Today I stepped out for a minute, went to a local shop up the road
Met a lady in there about 60sh like me, her mother was with her, nice lady with dementia

Our first gal, lets call her “Sally” and I are chatting ( its a small shop ) 2 other people walk in, and turns out Sally and I know both of them, small world
Sally and I connect on social media so I can send her some stuff about fun things to do in town, ( she just moved back her for her mom ) and all is good

Well we all leave the shop, go outside, and she points to a sticker on her car
She asks me if I’m for them, at first I wasn’t sure what she was saying, trucks were passing, cars zooming, it was loud, She asks me again if I like _________ ____________.
I tell her that I’m in the middle on that, I wasn’t sure what was going on, shame on me
She then looks right at me and says “Oh F—K no, you gotta go, no way dude”
That fast, that quick, that dismissive, that hateful, on the turn of a dime
I assure you I didn’t tell her that I was a devil worshipper or anything else like that

I’m not hurt, I’m kind of shocked, maybe I shouldn’t be, but I am
It was real, that just happened

Time, and time and time again and again I have said that “The markets reflect real life”
And they do… The markets are made up by people, people are humans, humans have emotions, and some don’t know how to control theirs

This morning I highlighted $NVDA ( ▲ 0.41% ) I took the play after the open and it worked out well
After the big drop I closed half of my position for a gain
After the big pop I closed the other half for a bigger gain
Replicating that play day after day wouldn’t be easy
We were right place right time today but we also had the right strategy
We’ve been doing a lot of that here at theoptionscoach.net lately, and I’m proud of that
$COP ( ▲ 1.23% ) is now up over 5% on the week
If you took the NVDA play this morning for a swing there is nothing wrong with that, it’s still a good looking play
