Time marches on

Time

Flat, lots of stocks closed flat today

$DJIA ( ▼ 0.05% )
$SPY ( ▲ 0.02% )
$QQQ ( ▲ 0.0% )

The FED announcement today was kind of what everyone had thought, no immediate rate cuts, but 2 expected ones this year still. The market didn’t hate that, but didn’t do cartwheels either, kind of a nothing burger if you will

All, whether they are for this Friday JUN 20, or next months JUL 18, all Strangles mentioned this week are ITM.. Allllll of them…….

As mentioned this morning gains on this Fridays JUN 20’s should be taken before they turn, ( if they turn )

Sometimes less is more, and that is what we’ve been doing this week"
Part of it is the timing of tomorrows market closure for Juneteenth, Friday is OPEX
We don’t exactly get many days the market is closed the day before OPEX

Part of it ( a big part ) is the situation in the Mid East
Anyone that has been reading theoptionscoach.net for any amount of time already knows that I don’t focus on news or news driven events. Those typically have a shelf life of 72 hours. The stock market hates uncertainty more than anything else, and right now uncertainty is what’s going on

Our old friend $SN ( ▲ 4.05% ) took off to the races again today
One that we have been fans of for a long time also is $SFM ( ▲ 0.4% )
I added a small amount to my existing position for SEPT 19, 2025
Lets wait and see how it looks on Friday morning to see if we can get a fresh set up

The rain just stopped here, a neighbor guy dropped off some metal benches the other day
I’m going to and weld the seats back together so no one falls on their butts!!! lol….
See you on Friday
