Wanna be on TV?

If you have ever wanted to know what it feels like to be on that TV show Punk’d without having your car smashed just try being a day trader in late 2024.

The only guarantees in the markets are that there are none. Just when NVDA looked stable bammmm it’s back out of play. SMCI tanking didn’t help its cause… I mentioned SMCI this morning and the Market Makers punished it relentlessly for its miss on earnings yesterday. This morning I said we wouldn’t be entering unless heavy buying occurred, it didn’t.

One that the day traders did prevail with today was UPST. If you recall it was the #5 stock on this mornings Gap Up list.. It opened up around 26% but closed up over 38% from yesterday. We here at investingwithfaith.com capitalized off of that move.

This current market environment is kind of like no mans land, or being on Punk’d. Uncertainty still exists. Do you recall Sunday nights writing? Where I said that the bulls needed to defend S+P 5200? then 5115? Below that all bets are off? That’s still where we are right now. Price is now down to 5160 as speak.

The Puts for this coming Friday are up tremendously over the calls, even if you don’t trade options, that matters, that matters a lot.

A few weeks ago I wrote about the importance of keeping a Watch List, it’s still a good idea, always is. Not to buy now, but to have on the ready for when we are done getting Punk’d.
