Lookout

Stocks closed red today, very very very red
While many did give a valiant effort to try and advance back north it just wasn’t in the cards
This morning I highlighted HWM and WMT both, neither one closed green
JNJ which received an “honorable mention” did however

I have a few thoughts today
1st: When we here at theoptionscoach.net said that stocks would fall faster and harder in 2025 than they did in 2024 we were on point. That’s not a humble brag, that’s simply what’s going on in todays markets

2nd: Those faster and harder falls are a big part of why we switched back to Vertical Spreads for protection rather than simply buying Blind Calls and going all in. Vertical Spreads weren’t made for “get rich quick” they were made so that you don’t lose all of your money

3rd: Personally I have been in deep reflection lately as how to capitalize best from this volatility. As a day trader it’s possible, I assure you of that, as a position trader / investor it becomes a tricky dance with this back and forth
Last Friday’s bounce up was big, really big, and it should of been. Think about it, the market lost what last week? 4.5 Trillion I think, then in one day recovered 1 trillion, that’s not a bad start to a comeback. Or a great way to fake out investors with a “Dead cat bounce”

Fed Chair “J-Pow” speaks tomorrow. 3 weeks ago traders were looking for NVDA to blow out earnings and lift the market, it didn’t. Now the markets are on hold to hear if the Fed cuts rates, and just as importantly this time around, its take on the economy and how it plans to move forward from here

TSLA is now moving closer to the next long term price target of $210.00
Below that it becomes $185.00
If you’d of heard that 3 months ago what would you of said?
Yeah, me too……….

Last night I got outside for a while and went and did a short “Walk about” around one of my Top 10 hiking areas…. Getting ready to meet some hikers here in 1 hour to go catch a trail
Gods splendor and beauty is around us 7 days a week
Go get outside, enjoy it, go walk outdoors, away from the indoor lights and out in the fresh natural air, you won’t regret it

Side note:
This was my walk last night
A little better looking than the Heat Map I do believe
