Weekly Recap MAY 25, 2025

This weeks Weekly Recap is going to look vastly different

First off all of you know that I am a math weirdo with a love affair with fractions, today is now the 25th day of the 5th month of the 2025 year
Let that sink in how much I’m smiling over here 🤣 

And smiles are needed
I shared a few times that I had an immediate family member that was terminally ill, it was my father, he is gone now

This isn’t a rant, it’s a life share
3 or 4 weeks ago I asked what it was the you guys got the most out of theoptionscoach.net 
~~~Much to my surprise, it was overwhelmingly when I talk about how trading relates to real life~~~

There’s a difference between your buddies, ( or gal pals ) your guys, your friends, and your do or die brothers / sisters
And unfortunately, the difference can be ASTRONOMICAL
Trading / Investing is no different at all

Your buddies, your gal pals, they care about you, they do, and they may even love you unconditionally

Here’s the difference, your buddies will say “Let me know if you need anything”
Not a bad gesture, but most already know that’s just putting more on the person that’s already in pain
Your do or die, your ride or die brothers, or sisters, they won’t say that, they simply show up. Or they will say “What can I do for you”
Not sure what I did to be so lucky in life but I had 4 dudes and 3 ladies all drop every thing they had going on and just showed up at my house
One of the ladies I don’t even really know, she’s old enough to me “my aunt” and only know her through art stuff
One spent 2 hours with me on my back porch
Turned off his phone the entire time, the entire 2 hours he never checked his phone
Another was at lunch with some of his buddies when he heard, they said he put a $20.00 on the table and told those guys “he had to go”
A long time do or die of mine showed up, came and grabbed me and said “you can’t be inside here, lets go”…

I appreciate the ones that called to check. This isn’t new because my father just died, I’ve said this for many many years, it’s times like this when “You find out who your friends are”

If you ever want to cultivate deeper connections with others, don’t ever say “ let me know if you need anything” That’s not genuine
Ask them what you can do for them, or better yet just go show up, take a pie, a sammich, just be there for them, and I’d be willing to bet they’d do the same for you


I’ll be doing some deep dives later tonight and hopefully have some good stuff ready to report Monday night or Tuesday morning
“Tariff Man” just said that he is holding off on tariffs on the EU until JULY. That should help push futures up greatly

Instead, just go show up
