Weekly Recap OCT 26, 2025

Hello traders, how was your weekend?
How far did you get out in nature and walk this weekend?
Mine was shorter than normal, only about 5 miles, the last 4 of them in the cold pouring rain, so that has to count for something…. 🙃 

This week The Dow Jones closed up above 47,000 for the first time ever
$DJI ( ▲ 0.71% ) Weekly +2.20%
$SPY ( ▲ 1.18% ) Weekly +1.94%
$QQQ ( ▲ 1.78% ) Weekly +2.18%
$IWM ( ▲ 0.35% ) Weekly +1.20%

$SMCI ( ▲ 6.79% ) which I highlighted Friday morning is in play
The MAR 2026 Bull Call Spreads at the 47 / 60 are still on the table
Depending on the market action in the Pre tomorrow we may be adding to those

$JPM ( ▲ 1.24% ) had a good bounce on Friday. If your new here to theoptionscoach.net welcome, we have been trading JPM on and off every time it hits this $300.00 area
It could be back in play again here. We’re looking for stabilization and not just a up day in a down trend

$CAT ( ▲ 0.83% ) reports earnings on Wednesday. Strangles are getting pricey here, I’ll be looking at our options tonight

$META ( ▲ 1.69% ) is range bound right now, but so are many other stocks, it reports on Wednesday also like CAT, I’m looking at our options on it

The markets were on a tear for the last several months, this pause that we seem to be in is healthy. We don’t need to be foolish here and chase anything…. We don’t have to be smarter than the rest, just more disciplined, Uncle Warren taught us that
