As in the most valuable “life lessons”
My grandmother wasn’t born here in the U.S.
Heck many in my family weren’t
My grandma came to America on a boat from Italy when she was 13
Our family name is on “The Wall” at Ellis Island

My grandma in her slow but deliberate English would always say to me:
“Learn a trade, specialize, don’t do just anything, because anyone can do that”
When I was a kid I thought she was wrong, I had a job making $14.00 an hour, all of my buddies were only making $8 an hour.. I was getting rich….Or so I thought….

That job and it’s earning potential was capped, no where to grow, or go up, or go outward with it
Just bust my butt and my back, all week for a paycheck on Friday, to help someone else get rich

Trading / Investing can afford individuals so much more than simply making just a few extra bucks, when done right it can turn things around for folks and add to ones quality of life
The past couple of weeks I have been writing a lot about market rotation
When you see todays Heat Map you will see that for sure
When was the last time we saw this much green on the lower right side of the Heat Map?

Our old friend CAT appears to be back in play
UNH is also busting a move here
I’ll be taking a deeper dive and digging into both stocks and their Options later tonight

Recently Barron’s stated that BAC would be releasing data from Blackrock ( that’s a lot of “B” s there!!! lol ) that is expected to say that 2025 will see more in the way of single stock picking by hedge funds. I believe it
What that means for the general market is that quicker and harder drops, or “selloffs” should be expected
Not an overall correction, just not the slow easy letdowns we had in 2024
That kind of overall price action could alter the way stock holders look to invest their money
As I look at the charts, the Heat Map over the past year, Options info and everything else, that seems plausible to me

For me Stock and Options Trading / Investing is more than just my trade, vocation or career, it’s a way of life
One that affords me and others like me tremendous freedoms

The gains we have enjoyed lately by the stocks that we have utilized are not to be taken lightly. We can’t control the direction of a stock any more than we can change the wind

But what we can do is remain diligent
I believe that we here at theoptionscoach.net do a good job of that
Our big winner today was a mention from this morning…. CRS
We alerted readers to CRS last week as it was bouncing off of the bottom of its box
Today the stock has risen over 4%
Here’s our Options on it

CRS
The 175’s for MAR 21, 2025 up 81%
The 180’s for FEB 21, 2025 up 77%

I’d say as “stock pickers” that’s not to shabby
And not just having the ability, but knowing when to use it and how to profit from “Stock Picking” and not just always following the crowd, is a freedom all of its self
